Hennessy Extra Baccarat
Hennessy Extra first appeared in 1923 (source: Cognac-Ton) as a 70-year old expression. In 1947 the Cognaçaise bottle was replaced by a tulip-shaped decanter, created by Gerald de Geoffre de Chabrignac. This very rare Extra Baccarat decanter was launched around 1980.

This Hennessy Extra is actually a Hennessy Paradis, released between 1979 and 1981, a confusing period in which Hennessy seemingly randomly, used various names such as Paradis, Paradis Extra, Paradis Rare, Extra and Extra Rare for essentially the same quality Cognac.

Hennessy VS 2011 KAWS
New York-based artist KAWS needs little in the form of introduction around these circles. From an artist on the streets to full-fledged gallery showings and toys, KAWS’s latest project involves the storied cognac producer, Hennessy. This artist collaboration features a meeting of Hennessy’s tradition with the progressive and iconic aesthetics of KAWS on a limited edition bottle of V.S. Cognac.
A total of 210,000 bottles have been produced, each carrying its own unique number, released September 2011 through selected channels. Besides the 100cl version Hennessy also issued 210.000 bottles (70cl) and 420.000 bottles (750ml), the latter for the US market.

Hennessy 250 Collector Blend NY
To celebrate its 250th anniversary, Hennessy Cognac has launched the Hennessy 250 Collector Blend alongside a global artistic and cultural event, The Hennessy 250 Tour.
Since 2011, Yann Fillioux, Maison Hennessy’s master blender, has been choosing eaux-de-vie from ones he has selected during his 50 years with the Cognac house, with the help of his tasting committee. To create the Hennessy 250 Collector Blend, the eaux-de-vie were aged in 250 handmade, specially commissioned 250-litre barrels of Limousin oak, having already been aged for at least 10 years under “optimum conditions”.
In addition, the Hennessy 250 Tour will take place from March to September visiting the Zaha Hadid Opera house in Guangzhou, China; the New Manege in Moscow, Russia; the Lincoln Centre in New York, US; the Circa Gallery in Johannesburg, South Africa; and an undisclosed location in Paris, France. This bottle was created especially for New York.

Hennessy Paradis Rare
Hennessy Paradis was released in 1979, created by Maurice Fillioux, as successor of Hennessy Extra, though the name extra was added to the Paradis label for quite some time, apparently to ensure the public would understand what Paradis actually stood for.
Hennessy Paradis Cognac is made from a blend of eaux-de-vie, some of which are up to 100 years old, that have been carefully selected and aged in oak barrels. The type of grape used in the production of this cognac is the Ugni Blanc, which is grown in the Cognac region of France, where the Hennessy house is located. The terroir, combined with the unique aging process, gives this cognac a unique and complex flavor profile.
This Hennessy Paradis Rare Cognac, introduced around 1990, was bottled in a slightly re-shaped decanter compared to the distinctive 1979 decanter and remained in service until 2001 when it got replaced by the new Ferruccio Laviania decanter

Croizet Réserve Particulière (1811)
Croizet Réserve Particulière was introduced in 1997, a beautiful decanter bottled with precious 1860 vintage Cognac, one of the favorite's of Benjamin Léon Croizet, distilled by his father, the other being a 1842 vintage distilled by his infamous grandfather Léon Croizet, Napoleon Bonaparte's sommelier.
After about two years the last remaining 1860 was bottled and after careful consideration the 1894 vintage became its successor. In total Croizet released 4 different decanters of which some carried a vintage year on their neck label while others came with a certificate stating vintage years and date of bottling. Besides the aforementioned 1860 and 1894 vintages Croizet also released some decanters containing a 1811 Fine Champagne.
This decanter is believed to contain the very rare 1811 vintage.

Hennessy VS 2015 Ryan McGinness
The new Hennessy V.S Limited Edition is the fifth in a series that has included critically acclaimed artists, KAWS, Futura, Os Gemêos and Shepard Fairey, the collaboration with McGinness is a perfect embodiment of Hennessy’s 250 years of dedication to the art of blending. McGinness acknowledges the strong similarities between his artistic approach and the creation of Hennessy Cognac: “My process of combining elements and compounds to form mixtures parallels Hennessy’s artful blending of eaux-de-vie to create Cognac. The shared approach to our crafts is part science and part art.”
