The new Hennessy V.S Limited Edition is the fifth in a series that has included critically acclaimed artists, KAWS, Futura, Os Gemêos and Shepard Fairey, the collaboration with McGinness is a perfect embodiment of Hennessy’s 250 years of dedication to the art of blending. McGinness acknowledges the strong similarities between his artistic approach and the creation of Hennessy Cognac: “My process of combining elements and compounds to form mixtures parallels Hennessy’s artful blending of eaux-de-vie to create Cognac. The shared approach to our crafts is part science and part art.”

Croizet Réserve Particulière was introduced in 1997, a beautiful decanter bottled with precious 1860 vintage Cognac, the favorite of B. Leon Croizet's father. After the 1860 stocks run out Croizet continued bottling with a 1894 vintage Cognac.

In 1873, Emile Fillioux created a special blend for the private enjoyment of the Hennessy family. Over decades, other private blends were created, inaccessible to the public. After re-examining thier remarkable reserve library of extraordinarily old and diverse Cognac, Hennessy have recreated the formula of the original 1873. Labelled as “Private Reserve”, this limited offerring contains within its blend, a portion of Cognac from the 1870’s, along with a heavenly host of other selected vintages. The result is a glorious Grande Champagne Cognac, deserving of both the Hennessy and Fillioux signatures. Released in 2005 in limited numbers.

Création Grand Extra is the product of several years of work by the Martell cellar master Bruno Lemoine, using some of the oldest eau-de-vie on hand, and is intended as a tribute to the Martell founder. The company says it is a reinterpretation of the Martell Extra, which was first conceived in the early nineteenth century but never widely distributed.

Created by Cellarmaster André Giraud, launched in 1981, Rémy Martin XO is composed of a unique blend from up to 400 eaux-de-vie coming exclusively from the most sought-after vineyards of Cognac: Grande Champagne (85%) and Petite Champagne. Several years after its introduction, the name changed into Rémy Martin XO Special which itself was replaced by Rémy Martin XO Excellence in 2003.

This giftbox, including miniature and photo-frame, was released for China in 2004.

Legendary street artist Futura designed the bottle art of this 2012 iteration of Hennessy's VS series, drawing inspiration from the cognac's warm colors and incorporating them into his own style. The brandy itself is the same VS blend of some 40 different eau-de-vie, each aged up to 8 years.

In 1936 the glass decanter was replaced by a cristal version produced by Baccarat, Saint-Louis and Sèvres. The production of Rémy Martin Louis XIII is limited to 10.000 bottles annually.
