Suntory Hibiki 21 years 1st ed.
Hibiki was introduced in 1989, initially as a nas version containing 30 different malt whiskies which was later changed to a recipe containing a blend of 36 malt whiskies with an ag statement of 17 years, meaning the youngest component in the blend aged that long. Hibiki 21 was added to the range in 1994.
This is the 1st release, available between 1994 and (so we assume) 2003, individually numbered old crest design with a gold colored back label.

Suntory Hibiki Koto
Hibiki Koto, bottled in a porcelain decanter shaped after the famous long Japanese board zither. The koto appeared in the Japanese court during the 8th century and was called the gakusō. Schools for the bourgeois were established in the 16th century. Two of these—Ikuta (started in the 17th century) and Yamada (opened in the 18th century)—continue to the present day. Solo (danmono) and chamber (sankyoku) music dominate the repertory, and in the latter form the koto player often sings as well.
