Johnnie Walker 1820 was a limited release for the Japanese market, a blend rumoured to be 21 years old, named 1820 after the founding year. In 2006 Diageo's surprised their employees with a decanter commissioned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kilmarnock Distillery. This decanter was filled with a '1820' blend which seems the same found in this bottle.

Johnnie Walker Premier was blended from some very rare whiskies in the Johnnie Walker inventory. A portion of this is from closed distilleries. Premier was available between 1991 and 2007, primarily aiming on Asia and the international Duty-Free market.

Wild Turkey 1855 Reserve was launched in 1992, a blend of 6, 8 and 12 year old whiskies. This Barrel Proof Bourbon is actually a Wild Turkey Rare Breed, released as '1855 Reserve' for the export market.

Just 4 batches were released of which W-T-01-94 is the 2nd batch.

Johnnie Walker Oldest, created exclusively for the duty-free market, was launched in 1987 and available until 1992 by when it was re-positioned as Johnnie Walker Blue. Oldest is an exquisite blend containing whisky aged 15 to 60 years. Much of the stocks used to create Oldest, and Blue, where over-aged stocks from whiskies fallow period.

Hennessy XO Exclusive Collection #1 Magnificence was initially launched in Asia Pacific travel retail on 1 June 2008, ahead of its release in the rest of the world, at a few selected duty free retailers such as Sky Connection at Hong Kong International Airport and Tasa Meng at Taipei International Airport. Presented in a numbered decanter encrusted with golden crystals, this  “more masculine” embossed gift box – in the plum colour which has been used since 2006 – has a shiny appearance and the name Hennessy XO written in gold lettering on its top.

Wild Turkey Heritage Single Barrel is a 2005 limited release, a no-age statement Single Barrel Bourbon bottled at 101 proof. Wild Turkey Heritage was bottled exclusively for DFS Galleria stores.

This Booker Noe's True Barrel Bourbon, aged for 6 years and 7 months , was distilled January 18th 2001 at the Clermont Distillery. This was apperently quite a productive day at the distillery as this was one of 4 batches which was bottles that very same cold winter day.

Hennessy Classique is a rare super premium blend which was created especially for the Japanese market, introduced in 2000, discontinued in 2002.

Recently we have sampled a bottle and found the Cognac to be quite excellent, seemingly older as XO.

Johnnie Walker Deco is a 1998 limited release, exclusively for the Taiwanese market. The bottle itself is inspired on the Art Deco period which lasted from 1920 until 1939.

This Camus Special Reserve Porcelain Egg decanter was released in the 1990's. Camus always had a strong relationship with the Russian czars, until the monarchy was wiped out in 1918. The inspiration for this beautiful decanter came from the (69) golden eggs which where created by Fabergé between 1883 and 1917, precious gifts which where presented by the czars to other members of the royal family.

This is the very first release of Jack Daniel's Master Distiller, bottled exclusively for the Japanese market in the 1990's.

The story: Mr. Jack Daniel liked to present his friends with a special gift. The gift was Jack Daniel's whisky that had to be from a special location in a certain barrel house which, he knew, took a darker color and a richer taste. He would set the whiskey aside, sign the labels, and keep a small supply for close friends and gift-giving. This Jack Daniel's Master Distiller is hand selected from the same special locations in the same barrel houses that Mr. Jack discovered.

Hennessy Kenzo Yellow is the successor of the 1997 Hennessy Kenzo Blue bottle. According to our information about 18.000 bottles Kenzo Blue where released while it seems considerably less of the Yellow bottles found their way to the shelves.

Hennessy Kenzo Blue was launched in 1997, the result of a collaboration between Hennessy and designer Kenzo, in honour of their 25th anniversary. Some 18.000 bottles were released, containing a premium vintage Cognac.

In 2015 the House of Martell celebrated their 300th anniversary. For this occasion a number of limited edition were released, of which this is one. For partners and employees, a big celebration was organised at their domaine Château de Chanteloup on September the 3rd, and each guest received as gift this special anniversary edition bottle, of which only 3000 have been produced.

Note from cellar master Benoit Fil: this Cognac contains a blend of 15 eaux de vie, originating from the 5 main production areas, and extending over the 19th, the 20th and the 21st century, but the average age of this blend is 60 years. One of the components is the oldest of the Martell Paradis, dated 1802, the birth year of Victor Hugo.

Hennessy Privé was initially created in 1920 by request of James Hennessy who asked Hennessy's master blender to create a cognac that would be both structured and elegant, to reflect the values of Art Deco, worthy to honor his friends amongst the elite.

A century later Hennessy has revived this tradition as a fine tribute to James Hennessy, recreated by Hennessy's Master Blender Yann Fillioux, who selected very old eaux-de-vie - to create a very balanced cognac. Launched at Singapore Changi Airport in 2009 is available at airports, duty-free and travel retail outlets.

Chartreuse Orange was introduced in the early 1970's and available for just a very short period of time. Chartreuse Orange is a combination of Chartreuse Verte and selected orange juice, bottled at 17%. Needless to say this is incredible rare and hardly seen on the international market.
