Kweichow Moutai 1978 Kuíhuā Three Great Revolutions
Kweichow Moutai WuXing "Three Great Revolutions" entered the domestic market in 1966 and remained in production until 1982. The Three Great Revolutions are the 1911 Revolution, the Chinese Communist Revolution, and the 1966 Cultural Revolution.
Another famous Kweichow Moutai is the Kuíhuā (Sunflower) which was introduced in 1968, intended for the export market. The initial design, depicting a Sunflower with large leaved, was instantly replaced by a small-leaf Sunflower which was sold until 1975. But in 1978 employees of the distillery located a stock of 238.000 small-leaf Sunflower labels which were then used to decorate one specific batch of bottles which were released March 1978 for the domestic market. These bottles became known as "Three Sunflower Moutai", referring to the "Three Great Revolutions" label on the back of these bottles, are are nowadays ver- sought after by connoisseurs and collectors alike.

Rémy Martin VSOP Saint Graal
This is the exquisite Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. Saint Graal, bottled in a mouth-blown decanter with antique sterling overlay glass. Released in 1962/63 this has become an incredible sought-after collectible item. The decanter has never been unwrapped which is extremely rare.
Knut Bergkvist developed the graal technique in 1916. He was inspired by the French art nouveau glass of Daum and Gallé of that time. In the graal technique a colored layer of glass is encased by a colored layer of glass. The glass is then allowed to cool down and when it is cold the design is applied by engraving or etching. The obtained “stock” of “blank” piece of glass is then carefully reheated and blown into its final shape. During this process the sharp edges of the design become smooth and the motive becomes more soft and blurred, giving it its typical Graal aspect.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl #384
Since the introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, initially known as Age Inconnu, has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different Grande Champagne cognacs matured between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a 16th century metal flask found on a Jarnac battlefield in 1850 which was purchased by Rémy Martin.
Louis XIII Black Pearl Cognac, described as “a rare and exclusive treasure”, is an exclusive series of 786 carafes numbered from 001 to 786, which reinvent the original Louis XIII carafe. The 786 numbered carafes come from a single century-old tierçons barrel used in the final ageing, which had until now been hidden in the personal reserve of the Hériard Dubreuil family.
Black Pearl was introduced in January 2007.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII (1946-1950)
Since the introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, initially known as Age Inconnu, has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different Grande Champagne cognacs matured between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a 16th century metal flask found on a Jarnac battlefield in 1850 which was purchased by Rémy Martin. Between 1874 and 1920 Rémy Martin Age Inconnu was sold in glass decanters made by Verrerie Royale de Saint Louis in Münzthal but these reproductions were far from perfect and so the production was entrusted to Cristallerie de Baccarat from 1920 onwards.
This Remy Martin (Louis XIII) Très Vieille Age Inconnu was bottled for Europe between 1946 and 1950, in a period in which the name Baccarat was engraved under the base but still without the Baccarat logo which would be added in 1951. This is decanter #79. Production in these post-WWII years was extremely limited, so far we have not seen any number exceeding #120.

Kweichow Moutai 1972 Kuíhuā
In 1968 the Revolutionary Committee of Kweichow Moutai Distillery announced the replacement of the Feitian export label by a new logo depicting a sunflower (Kuíhuā). A total of 4 different designs of the sunflower were drawn, one of them depicting of a big-leaf sunflower, designed by the Guiyang City Arts and Crafts Research Institute. Initially the big-leaf sunflower was chosen and some labels were printed but almost instantly rejected and replaced by the final choice which became known as the small-leaf sunflower. The sunflower brand was registered March 30, 1968.
On April 29th 1973 the distillery was ordered to cancel the sunflower labels by replacing them by Feitian labels, thereby restoring the situation as it used to be before 1968. Eventually it took until 1976 before the situation was completely restored.
