Rémy Martin Louis XIII (1980-1981)
Since it's introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different cognacs which matured in wood between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a ancient Venetian bottle found on a Jarnac battlefield in the 19th century. In 1936 the glass decanter was replaced by a cristal version produced by Baccarat, Saint-Louis and Sèvres. The production of Rémy Martin Louis XIII is limited to 10.000 bottles annually.

Between 1980 and 1981 a number of old edition Louis XIII where boxed in plastic casings for the Asian market.

Niepoort 1952 Garrafeira
The second generation of the Niepoort family, in the late 19th century, had the fortunate idea of purchasing some 4000 glass balloons (in the form of old apothecaries’ bottles) of dark-green glass with varying capacities from 8 to 11 liters.

Eduard Karel Jacob van der Niepoort sadly died early and it was his son, Eduard Marius van der Niepoort, Dirk’s grandfather, who gave purpose to the demijohns by bottling the best wines of the 1931 harvest, thus creating the type “Garrafeira Niepoort”.

Kweichow Moutai 1968 Big-Leaf Sunflower
In 1968 the Revolutionary Committee of Kweichow Moutai Distillery announced the replacement of the Feitian export label by a new logo depicting a sunflower. The initial design, nicknamed 'big-leaf sunflower' was almost immediately replaced by a new design, the small-leaf sunflower, which was sold between 1969 and 1978.

This makes the big-leaf sunflower one of the rarest Moutai's ever produced; it took until 2012 before a bottle actually surfaced, prior the big sunflower was often considered to be some kind of urban legend.
