Nikka Grand Age is a discontinued blended whisky which run for a number of years, how many and when exactly we're unaware. What we do know is that the different components aged on Sherry Casks.

Suntory Pure Malt 7 years old Black Label is a discontinued vatted malt which contains predominantly Yamazaki, supplemented by a small portion of Hakushu.

Nikka Super Genshu Vatted Pure Malt is a pure malt as opposed to the normal blended "Super Nikkas". It is subtitled Genshu which is a term in common and tightly defined use in the sake world. Genshu is sake which has not been diluted after the fermentation process. It has a similar meaning to cask strength in whisky parlance. Nikka Super Genshu was launched in 1995 and discontinued in 2009.

This is the initial release, with a cork stopper, which was sold only in 1995 and 1996.

Virgin Bourbon 10 years old, bottled at 101 proof. There is a possibility that this bottle contains bourbon produced on the rented stills at Jim Beam or Brown Forman in the intervening years between 1996 and 1999.

Nikka Malt 100 "Hakata' is a excellent blend of Yoichi and Miyagikyo, apparently created for the Japanese city Fukuoka or at least referring to this city by it's ancient name Hakata.

Blanton's Tezuka 100th Anniversary is a very rare release, dumped 05-04-09. This is one of only three Blanton 500ml releases, bottled as a gift for employees of Tezuka Corporation.

In 1977, Grand Marnier released the limited anniversary edition “Cuvée Spéciale Cent Cinquantenaire”, produced with a blend of 50-year-old Cognac, sold in hand-painted bottles shaped after a 1927 limited edition Baccarat design, and marketed using the slogan “Hard to find, impossible to pronounce, and prohibitively expensive.” We have been told just 2000 of these bottles from the 1st batch were produced.

Subsequently Marnier released "Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire" which was a blend of 25-30 year old Cognac with a portion of 'up to 50-year old Cognac'. This predecessor came in 3 different versions but unfortunately was discontinued in 2013, with strategists deeming that there wasn’t enough “liquid differentiation” between Cent Cinquantenaire and the lesser Cuvée du Centenaire, replacing Cent Cinquantenaire with the Cuvée 1880, which had a slightly higher cognac content. This one was bottled in 1999.

In 1977 Grand Marnier celebrated their 150th anniversary with the release of Cuvée Spéciale Cent Cinquantenaire, containing 50-year-old Grande Champagne Cognac, sold in 2000 individual numbered hand-painted bottles, marketed using the slogan “Hard to find, impossible to pronounce, and prohibitively expensive.” The decanter was shaped after a 1927 limited edition Baccarat decanter.

The production of Cuvée Spéciale Cent Cinquantenaire continued for a number of years but at some point the name changed to Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire, made with 25-50 year old Cognac.

According to some Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire phased out in 2013, with strategists deeming that there wasn’t enough “liquid differentiation” between Cent Cinquantenaire and the lesser Cuvée du Centenaire, replacing Cent Cinquantenaire with the Cuvée 1880, which had a slightly higher Cognac content. In reality the production of Cent Cinquantenaire was continued until 2017, after David Campari became mayor shareholder.

The second version of Chartreuse V.E.P. (Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé) was released in 1963 in honor of the prosperous period after WWII, known as 'Trente Glorieuses'. Chartreuse V.E.P. is made using the same processes and the same secret formula as the traditional liqueur, and by extra long ageing (8-20 years) in 600 liters demi-muids oak casks it reaches an exceptional quality. Why second ? The monks already released a Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Chartreuse Jaune as early as 1942 which was aged 10 years in a tonneau en chêne.

Highland Park 1998, bottled exclusively for Japan in 2007 from Spanish Oak Cask first fill butt #8017. This edition is the youngest of the Exclusive to Japan selection but also the darkest of the 5 casks selected.
