For Richard Hennessy the House of Hennessy has blended 100 of its oldest eaux-de-vie – aged in old barrels for up to 200 years – with younger examples to create this incomparable cognac. Once blended, it gains complexity and power from five years in younger casks, with the wood emphasising the structure and character of the eaux-de-vie. This also gives Richard Hennessy its darker colour. Richard Hennessy was first introduced in 1996.  

This is the 2nd edition, produced by Baccarat, which run until 2008, sold without box!
