This iconic golden Suntory Yamazaki Pure Malt was released in 1983 to commemorate Yamazaki's 60th Anniversary.

Suntory Age Unknown is a 1989 limited release of 300 bottles, selected from the finest barrels in the Yamazaki aging warehouses in celebration of the life of Keizo Saji and his receipt of the Order of the Sacred Treasure.

Suntory Age Unknown is between 25 and 30 years old, but how old exactly is not revealed, hence its catching name....

This is the 2021 release of The Essence of Suntory, distilled at Suntory’s Yamazaki distillery in 2009, and bottled in 2021 after more than a decade in American Oak casks. It’s made using Golden Promise barley, whose profile might be familiar to fans of The Macallan.

Golden Promise is a brand name of malt most famously associated with The Macallan, who used it exclusively during the 1960s and 70s. In Japan, the Karuizawa Distillery started using the same brand once they were allowed to import barley from overseas, rather than use domestic.

This is the 2021 release of The Essence of Suntory: Yamazaki 2010 Islay Peated Malt, aged in American oak for 11 years.

This is a 2020 release for The Essence of Suntory Whisky series. A blend of 2000 vintage "clean type" Chita single grain, aged in white oak casks for 15 years and finished in Sakura wood casks for its final three years.

This is a 2020 addition to The Essence of Suntory Whisky series, and a first for Suntory. This was distilled at the Osumi distillery in Kagoshima, which Suntory have owned since 2014. The plant primarily distills shochu under The Osumi brand, but has also produced this malt-based "rice whisky" (not that traditional rice whisky in Japan is made using koji).

This 12-year old Yamazaki miniature is a rare distillery-onoy release, produced between 1984 and 2002, with artwork from Katsu-Sama.

This Suntory Vintage Malt 1991, distilled at Yamazaki, was bottled in 2005.

This Suntory 1982 Vintage Malt, aged on Bourbon, was bottled in 2004. This extremely rare whiskey was produced at the Hakushu distillery and had been limited to 300 bottles.

Yamazaki 1984, 25 years old, bottled in 2009 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Yamazaki Single Malt Whiskey.. This is a limited edition of 2800 bottles.

This Yamazaki Puncheon 2010 release comes from short and stout 480L American oak puncheons that are coopered by Suntory themselves. Because of the low contact ratio of puncheons, maturity is slower, so Suntory says we can expect flavor closer to the original spirit.

This is the 2016 release, a single malt whisky has been aged for at least 12 years in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, known for imparting complex notes of coconut, spice and incense to the drink.

The Hakushu distillery is owned by the Suntory group, and situated in the Toribara locality of the former town of Hakushu, in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu region, Japan.

This 18 year old Hakushu is a limited edition of just 500 bottles.
