This is the 2021 release of The Essence of Suntory, distilled at Suntory’s Yamazaki distillery in 2009, and bottled in 2021 after more than a decade in American Oak casks. It’s made using Golden Promise barley, whose profile might be familiar to fans of The Macallan.

Golden Promise is a brand name of malt most famously associated with The Macallan, who used it exclusively during the 1960s and 70s. In Japan, the Karuizawa Distillery started using the same brand once they were allowed to import barley from overseas, rather than use domestic.

This is the 2021 release for The Essence of Suntory: Yamazaki 2010 Islay Peated Malt, aged in American oak for 11 years.

This is a 2020 release for The Essence of Suntory Whisky series. A blend of 2000 vintage "clean type" Chita single grain, aged in white oak casks for 15 years and finished in Sakura wood casks for its final three years.

This is a 2020 addition to The Essence of Suntory Whisky series, and a first for Suntory. This was distilled at the Osumi distillery in Kagoshima, which Suntory have owned since 2014. The plant primarily distills shochu under The Osumi brand, but has also produced this malt-based "rice whisky" (not that traditional rice whisky in Japan is made using koji).

This very special NAS blend of Yamazaki, aged on a combination of Yamazaki's traditional Mizunara barrel-aged malt and innovative wine-cask aged malt was produced January 2014 for The Prudential Insurance Company of America, known for their slogan "The Prudential has the strength of Gibraltar', as a gift for employees and customers celebrating the 140th anniversary of Prudential in 2015. This is one of 140 bottles.

Martin Mills, a name for a fictional distillery, was a bourbon bottled by Heaven Hill distillers in Kentucky for the Japanese export market. This incredible bourbon was barreled in 1974 and bottled 24 years later. Mash bill 75% corn, 13% rye & 12% barley. This is one of 4284 bottles.

This is Ichiro's Malt 2022 single cask exclusive bottling for the Yokohama Grand Hotel. Distilled in 2012, matured in wine cask #9115 and limited to 272 bottles.

Nikka Yoichi Genshu 10 years Single Cask #120259, bottled at cask strength, only available at the distillery at the turn of the century.
