Suntory introduced Hibiki in April 1989, released to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the company.  The NAS premium blend at 43% ABV carried a suggested retail price of ¥10,000. Designated as “a masterful blend of specially aged whiskies with a mature full-bodied taste” on the front, the back label further elaborates that the contents are a mix of 30 different whiskies. The unique bottle, with its 24 facets that reflect the hours in the day as well as all the ‘small seasons’ in the year, sported a medallion, a gold cap stopper, all packaged in a luxurious box.  

This is the Hibiki 100th anniversary blend, released in 2023.

Hibiki was introduced in 1989, initially as a nas version containing 30 different malt whiskies which was later changed to a recipe containing a blend of 36 malt whiskies with an ag statement of 17 years, meaning the youngest component in the blend aged that long. Hibiki 21 first appeared in 1994 and, due to a temporarily shortage, it was announced as being discontinued but in fact it remained in production after all.

This Hibiki 21-years old decanter was released in 2001 for the 15th anniversary of Crown Plaza ANA Kyoto hotel.

Back in 1876 Alexander Graham Bell was awarded the first U.S. patent for the invention of the telephone. In 1890 the first telephone line between Tokyo and Yokohama became active. In 1990 Suntory honored the 100th anniversary of this event with the release of a black ceramic decanter shaped after the iconic Table Telephone No.2 which was launched in 1906 but apparently it took until 1927 until they found there way to Japan.

The Hakushu distillery is owned by the Suntory group, and situated in the Toribara locality of the former town of Hakushu, in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu region, Japan.

This blue/white octopus Arabesque pattern Aritayaki decanter, decorated with a Usagi (rabbit) under the moon and the Kanji character Fuku, was released in 1998. Bottled with 12-year old Hakushu single malt.

Wild Turkey 17 Year Master's Keep is a masterpiece carefully blended by Eddie Russell, who became the Master Distiller of Wild Turkey Distillery in 2015, together with his father Jimmy Russell. This is the first new product to be released after Eddie became Master Distiller, and it is characterized by its silky smoothness and subtle sweetness. Due to the extreme temperature differences in Kentucky, it is said that it is difficult to age wine for long periods of time while maintaining quality. Under such circumstances, this product uses only carefully selected unblended sake that has been aged for over 17 years.

This is a rare commemorative bottling gifted to the Japanese import agent and Maker's Mark partner, supermarket chain Meidi-Ya (Meijiya), to celebrate their 120th anniversary since the company was founded in 1885 in the town of Yokohama.

The Gentleman Jack brand has not been used for limited edition or commemorative purposes much in its 33 years of existence. However, this brand which is known for its smoothness and extra layer of refinement was the perfect fit to honor the personal timepiece of Jack Daniel. 

This is the Gentleman Jack hybrid which was sold in 1990 and 1991, a 1st generation bottle with a second generation label, sold in a gold-colored box.
