Suntory President's Choice was selected and blended by Keizo Saji, born in Osaka in 1919 as the second son of Shinjiro Torii, founder of Kotobukiya. He became president of Kotobukiya in 1961, and officially renamed it to Suntory Limited in 1963, paying tribute to the success of Suntory Whisky a.k.a. Kakubin.

This one is quite rare as it contains Yamazaki Single Malt instead of a blended whisky.

The Hakushu distillery is owned by the Suntory group, and situated in the Toribara locality of the former town of Hakushu, in the Yamanashi Prefecture, Chubu region, Japan.

This 2015 limited edition Hakushu 25 years old is labelled with Echizen Washi (Traditional paper) depicting the mountain forests of Hakushu, and also comes in a Paulownia wood box, worthy for even the best. Sealed with a five-cord "Mizuhiki" symbolizing the human hand - joining the hands and heart of the giver with the recipient, this design is the essence of Japanese Hospitality.

Yamazaki Whisky is Suntory's flagship single malt whisky, from Japan’s first and oldest malt distillery, multi-layered with fruit and Mizunara aromas. Yamazaki Limited Edition Single Malt Japanese Whisky 2024 Release is the 4th limited edition Yamazaki bottled since 2017.

This single malt whisky has been aged for at least 12 years in Japanese Mizunara oak casks, known for imparting complex notes of coconut, spice and incense to the drink.

This Karuizawa Ocean Very Rare Old Blended Malt was bottled after 1962, containing Yamanashi Grain Whisky and Karuizawa Single Malt. In later times the name was changed into 'White' and the content downgraded to 'just' blended whisky.

This old Bowmore was distilled in 1964 and aged in Sherry casks, stored in the No1 warehouse, the original warehouse dating back to 1779.

The bottle baring the Morrison Clan coat of Arms is a replica of a handblown bottle and was filled in the distillery early 1979.

Bowmore 30 years Sea Dragon is a 2006 limited edition of 1800 bottles. Needless to state this is pretty brilliant!

Besides the Suntory Yamazaki Granville Wold Posters Series (1-VII) the distillery released another decanter with artwork from Alphonse Mucha: the Suntory Museum Collection World Posters I, depicting Salon des Cents (1896). This is a very rare decanter and we are unaware whether this was a one-of-a-kind release or part of a series.

This Hibiki 21 years Dream Big was released in 2001 to commemorate the inauguration of Saji Nobutada, the 4th president of Suntory, successor of Torii Shinichiro who passed away in 2004.

Suntory introduced Hibiki in April 1989, released to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the company.  The NAS premium blend at 43% ABV carried a suggested retail price of ¥10,000. Designated as “a masterful blend of specially aged whiskies with a mature full-bodied taste” on the front, the back label further elaborates that the contents are a mix of 30 different whiskies. The unique bottle, with its 24 facets that reflect the hours in the day as well as all the ‘small seasons’ in the year, sported a medallion, a gold cap stopper, all packaged in a luxurious box.  

This is the first release as it was available between 1989 and 1990, bearing the old Lion Crest logo, which was replaced in 1991, and a gold-colored stopper.
