Hennessy Privé was initially created in 1920 by request of James Hennessy who asked Hennessy's master blender to create a cognac that would be both structured and elegant, to reflect the values of Art Deco, worthy to honor his friends amongst the elite.
Hennessy Privé Qualité Rare which recreated in for the Japanese market by Hennessy's Master Blender Yann Fillioux and released in 1994.
