Dom Pérignon Rosé 1986
Of all luxury brands of champagne, Dom Pérignon is probably the most famous, with an unwavering appeal. The first Dom Pérignon Rosé was the 1959, but it was not commercially released and only seen in private collections.
The 1986 vintage is a beautifully pure Rosé Champagne. On the nose, intense and fresh red fruit character – wild cherries and red currants, which then mingle and give way to notes of Mirabelle plums and toasted bread. On the palate, the initial impression of roundness and concentration is perfectly balanced by an almost youthful liveliness.

Dom Pérignon (/ˌdɒmpɛrɪnˈjɒn/; French pronunciation: [dɔ̃ peʁiɲɔ̃]) is a brand of vintage Champagne. It is named after Dom Pérignon, a Benedictine monk who was an important quality pioneer for Champagne wine but who, contrary to popular myths, did not discover the Champagne method for making sparkling wines.
