Marnier-Lapostolle Cherry-Cognac 30° (200cl)
Cherry Marnier was one of the first fruit liqueurs created at the family's original distillery founded in 1827 in Neauphle-le-Château, near Versailles. Initially marketed as Cherry-Brandy, Cherry-Cognac or a combination of both names it was renamed Cherry Marnier in 1966, still bottled at 30% abv which was reduced to 25% in 1975 and further reduced to 24% in 1983, adapting the product to the consumer demand for low alcohol products, without harming its intrinsic quality.
Cherry Marnier was withdrawn from the US market in 1999 and from then on only available in a select number of European countries. In 2016 Campari Group became mayor shareholder and subsequently Cherry Marnier phased out January 1st 2017.
This Magnum was bottled February 1962 and does come with the original aluminium stopper which is quite a rarity.

Clément Tres Vieux Rum Agricole 1970
There are different stories about Clément 1970 Tres Vieux Rum Agricole, especially about the exact aging. One source claimed the rum aged for 15 years before it was bottled in 1985 while another expert claims the rum was transfer into smaller French Oak Casks and allowed to mature further till 1991. Either way this is a fine Rum from the sunny island Martinique.

Rémy Martin Louis XIII (1969-1978)
Since the introduction in 1874 Louis XIII de Rémy Martin, initially known as Age Inconnu, has been Rémy's most prestigious cognac, a blend composed of 1200 different Grande Champagne cognacs matured between 40 and 100 years, bottled in a decanter which was shaped after a 16th century metal flask found on a Jarnac battlefield in 1850 which was purchased by Rémy Martin.
Between 1874 and 1920 Rémy Martin Age Inconnu was sold in glass decanters made by Verrerie Royale de Saint Louis in Münzthal but these reproductions were far from perfect and so the production was entrusted to Cristallerie de Baccarat from 1920 onwards.
This presentation of Remy Martin Louis XIII Very Old was produced between 1969 and 1979, delivered in a octagonal red box, accompanied with a 'battle of Jarnac' card.

Suntory Hibiki NAS 4rd ed.
Suntory introduced Hibiki in April 1989, released to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of the company. The NAS premium blend at 43% ABV carried a suggested retail price of ¥10,000. Designated as “a masterful blend of specially aged whiskies with a mature full-bodied taste” on the front, the back label further elaborates that the contents are a mix of 30 different whiskies. The unique bottle, with its 24 facets that reflect the hours in the day as well as all the ‘small seasons’ in the year, sported a medallion, a gold cap stopper, all packaged in a luxurious box.
This is the 4rd release, bottled in 2002, with a faceted clear stopper and golden box, this time a blend of 36 whiskies.

Grand Marnier Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire
In 1977, Grand Marnier released the limited anniversary edition “Cuvée Spéciale Cent Cinquantenaire”, produced with a blend of 50-year-old Cognac, sold in hand-painted bottles shaped after a 1927 limited edition Baccarat design, and marketed using the slogan “Hard to find, impossible to pronounce, and prohibitively expensive.” We have been told just 2000 of these bottles from the 1st batch were produced.
Subsequently Marnier released "Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire" which was a blend of 25-30 year old Cognac with a portion of 'up to 50-year old Cognac'. This predecessor came in 3 different versions but unfortunately was discontinued in 2013, with strategists deeming that there wasn’t enough “liquid differentiation” between Cent Cinquantenaire and the lesser Cuvée du Centenaire, replacing Cent Cinquantenaire with the Cuvée 1880, which had a slightly higher cognac content. This one was bottled in 1999.
